Design it in Canva. Let GigaDrip do the rest.
If Canva is where your graphics get made, you don't have to give that up. Connect your Canva account and a finished design comes straight into GigaDrip as a post — caption written, accounts picked, waiting for your yes.
Here's how it actually goes
Say you run a bakery and you've got a Canva design for Saturday's cinnamon roll drop — the photo, the price, your colors, the whole thing. Normally the next twenty minutes go to downloading it, opening three apps, writing a caption you'll second-guess, and remembering which account still needs it.
With GigaDrip connected, you press Return to GigaDrip inside Canva's editor instead. The design lands in your Studio as a post. GigaDrip reads it, works out what it's about, writes the caption in your brand voice, and lines it up for the accounts you use. You read it over, pick a time, and approve. The cinnamon rolls are handled. So is Saturday.
Connect once, in Settings
Go to Settings, open Connections, and click Connect next to Canva. Sign in to Canva, approve the request, and you're done. Any Canva plan works, including the free one — GigaDrip shows the name on your Canva account so you know it took.
Canva stays your Canva. GigaDrip only reads the designs you point it at, and you can disconnect any time.
Three ways to bring a design in
In the Studio, look for "Design it in Canva". From there you've got three doors, depending on how far along the design is:
- Start a fresh design. Opens a blank Canva design in a new tab, ready to make something. When it's done, Return to GigaDrip brings it back.
- Use one of mine. A picker over the designs already in your Canva account. Pick one and it opens in Canva for a final edit. If your Canva plan includes brand templates, they show up in the same picker.
- Import a design. Skip the editing. Choose something you've already finished and it comes over exactly as it is.
What comes back
GigaDrip reads the design and fills in what it can. It never invents facts it didn't find — if the design doesn't say the price, the caption won't either.
Changing the artwork later
Spotted a typo after the caption's already perfect? Every post made from a Canva design has a "Change the original in Canva" button. It reopens that same design in Canva; press Return to GigaDrip and the post keeps its caption, its date, and its accounts — only the artwork is replaced.
Two honest notes. It's the same design in your Canva account, so the change lands there too — duplicate it in Canva first if you want to keep a master untouched. And a post that's already scheduled or published won't take a swap; GigaDrip says so rather than quietly publishing artwork nobody approved.
The details it gets right so you don't have to
- Closed the Canva tab too early? Nothing's lost. Back in the Studio, Import a design remembers what you just had open and shows it first.
- Paid stock and fonts. Canva puts its watermark on paid stock and fonts your account hasn't licensed, and an import counts as an export — so those come over watermarked. That's Canva's rule, not ours, and the design tells you which element it was.
- Video that's too long. Each account has its own limit for video length and size. GigaDrip checks the export against the tightest one at import time, so you find out now, not at 2 a.m. when it was supposed to post.
- Canva having a moment. If Canva is busy, GigaDrip says so and waiting a minute is the whole fix.
Still your call, always
A Canva import is a draft, same as any other post. It waits in your Review queue until you approve it, and approving is what schedules it. Nothing publishes on its own — here's exactly how review works.
Do I need Canva to use GigaDrip?
No. GigaDrip comes with its own designs, built for the kinds of posts your line of work actually makes. Canva is for people who already have a look they love there and don't want to rebuild it.
Which Canva plan do I need?
Any of them, including Free. A few of Canva's own features — brand templates, for one — depend on your Canva plan, and GigaDrip simply shows them when your plan has them.
Can I edit the design inside GigaDrip?
The artwork itself is edited in Canva — that's the point of using the tool you already know. Everything around it (caption, accounts, timing, which photo goes first) is edited in GigaDrip's Review queue like any other post.
What happens when I disconnect?
Click Disconnect on the Canva row in Settings. GigaDrip drops its access to your Canva account immediately and tells Canva the connection is over. Posts you've already made from Canva designs stay exactly where they are — the artwork's already here and doesn't need Canva any more.
Keep designing where you like. Stop doing the rest by hand.
Connect Canva, press Return, approve the post. That's the whole trip.
