When GigaDrip refuses to write a post
Sometimes GigaDrip stops instead of handing you a caption, and says the writing stated something your details do not contain.
That is deliberate. It is the one thing the app refuses to do: put a number or an address about your business into a post when you never gave it that number or address.
What it is checking
GigaDrip writes from the details you enter. Before you ever see a draft, it re-reads what was written and looks for four kinds of claim:
- A price that is not one of your prices.
- An address that is not your address.
- A figure — square feet, bedrooms, bathrooms, years — that you did not provide.
- A feature from a known list, like a pool or a wine cellar, that is not in your details.
If it finds one, it asks the writer to try again, twice. Only if the claim is still there does it give up and tell you.
What to do about it
The message names the exact phrase it objected to. Usually one of two things is true:
- The claim is genuinely wrong. Nothing to do — the check did its job. Generate again.
- The claim is true, but we were never told. Add the detail to the listing or project you are generating from, then generate again. Once the fact is in your details, the same sentence passes.
Please still read your posts
This is a safety net, and it has limits. It compares numbers and words against your details; it is not a fact-checker and it does not understand your business. Some things get past it — a price written in another currency, a number that is real but attached to the wrong thing, a feature outside its list.
So it stops the obvious inventions, and it is not a reason to skip reading. Check the numbers and names in the Review board before you approve.
