GETTING STARTED

Importing photos from Google Drive

You can pull photos and videos straight out of Google Drive.

  1. Go to Settings → Connect Apps → Where your media lives and click Connect Drive.
  2. Sign in with Google and approve the account.
  3. On the Assets page, click ▿ Drive to open Google's file picker, choose your images and videos, and they import.

GigaDrip only ever sees the files you pick in that picker — it can't browse the rest of your Drive.

Worth knowing:

  • Imported files land in Unfiled; move them into a folder afterwards.
  • Only images and videos import. Google Docs, Sheets and PDFs are skipped, and the app tells you what it skipped and why.
  • There's a cap on how many files one import can take, so pick in batches if you have a lot.

Disconnect any time from the same Settings row.
