Importing photos from Google Drive
You can pull photos and videos straight out of Google Drive.
- Go to Settings → Connect Apps → Where your media lives and click Connect Drive.
- Sign in with Google and approve the account.
- On the Assets page, click ▿ Drive to open Google's file picker, choose your images and videos, and they import.
GigaDrip only ever sees the files you pick in that picker — it can't browse the rest of your Drive.
Worth knowing:
- Imported files land in Unfiled; move them into a folder afterwards.
- Only images and videos import. Google Docs, Sheets and PDFs are skipped, and the app tells you what it skipped and why.
- There's a cap on how many files one import can take, so pick in batches if you have a lot.
Disconnect any time from the same Settings row.
