Assets: uploading media and organizing folders

Assets is your media library — the photos, videos and documents your posts draw from.

1. Open Assets from the sidebar.
2. Click + Folder to create a folder, or ↑ Upload to add files. You can also drag files straight onto the page.
3. Files uploaded from the main Assets page land in Unfiled — drag them onto a folder to file them.

Accepted files: JPG, PNG and WebP images, MP4, MOV and WebM video, plus PDF, Word and text documents. If a file is the wrong type or too large, the app tells you immediately.

Select files to Rename…, Move to… or Delete. Deleted files sit in Trash with a countdown on each tile until they're purged — Restore brings them back before then.

The STORAGE card at the bottom of the library rail shows how much of your plan's storage you've used. More detail on Usage.
