Why GigaDrip · Your voice, your call

Use AI for Speed Without Giving Up Your Brand Voice

The biggest fear surrounding AI-assisted marketing is not merely that the writing will be imperfect. It is that every business will begin to sound the same.

The research is more nuanced than “AI content is bad.”

A study in the Journal of Product & Brand Management exposed 624 participants to marketing text labeled as AI-written, human-written, or without a source label. Text disclosed as AI-generated was not automatically perceived as less authentic, nor did it produce a negative brand-attitude effect.

Other contexts require more caution. Across three experiments, a Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services study found that disclosed AI-generated service advertisements could reduce trust and ad attitudes. The effect improved when AI was used selectively instead of replacing the real person at the center of a service — worth knowing if you are an independent professional whose name is the product.

These findings can coexist. AI can help develop marketing without automatically destroying authenticity, but the context, execution, and role assigned to AI matter.

Hootsuite’s 2026 trends research reaches a similar practical conclusion: AI has become part of social workflows, while authenticity and human connection remain differentiators.

That points toward assistance rather than impersonation. GigaDrip is designed to begin with actual business material, write in the business’s voice, and return the result for approval. The business supplies the facts, experiences, standards, and perspective. AI helps reduce the work required to shape those ingredients into a post.

A recognizable voice is not a collection of trendy phrases. It is a consistent way of seeing and explaining the work. The right AI workflow should help that voice appear more regularly — not replace it with a generic one.
